Intern Role:
RMP is looking for a marketing intern who is looking to be a pat of an exciting early stage e-commerce company. In this role the intern will help mange social communications, coordinate online advertising campaigns, create web content and work on projects to drive Consumer adoption. The intern will work directly with the founders.

Location: RMP's office is located in the 5th ward of Milwaukee. The intern will not be required to work out of the office. Some meetings will require an office visit.

Intern with Startup Milwaukee

College students, this is your chance to be in the center of Milwaukee’s tech startup scene. Startup Milwaukee is seeking an intern with an interest in startup companies/entrepreneurship, nonprofits, marketing, writing, technology and/or event planning. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from and network with startup founders, emerging tech companies and nonprofit leaders in the community. Positions available for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters. Duties & requirements include:

  • Assist in planning, promoting and managing Startup Milwaukee events
  • Provide support to the Startup Milwaukee team on special projects and initiatives
  • Help manage Startup Milwaukee’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Writing and researching content for the Startup Milwaukee blog
  • Attend community events related to entrepreneurship and technology

PKWARE, an established Milwaukee technology company with an entrepreneurial spirit is hiring a Human Resources intern. The intern will be primarily responsible for performing HR generalist duties in support of the VP of HR.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1.  Monitors PKWARE career website and updates as necessary.
  2. Applicant data entry.
  3.  Schedules phone conversations between candidates and the VP or HR or with the Hiring Manager.
  4.  E-mails interviewing candidates appropriate paperwork.
  5.  Schedules on-site candidate interviews.
  6. Assists with post interview processes.
  7. Updates federal and state postings, as required.
  8. Completes miscellaneous HR clerical tasks.
  9.  Identifies and assists in the selection of job fairs, social networking sites, colleges and internet sites.
  10. Maintains recruiter activity log.
  11. Supports the Vice President of Human Resources in other projects and activities as needed.

Current student enrolled at a four-year college or university preferred with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Minimum one year prior professional office experience
